According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An adjustable railing includes posts and a handrail for rotational movement. A constraint section is formed on the post, enabling the connecting rods arranged between the posts to engage movably with the constraint section. This allows the adjustable railing to adaptively adjust to the ground or stair angles during on-site installation.
