ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,488,513, issued on Dec. 2.

"Weapon targeting system" was invented by Philip Lyren (Rincon, Puerto Rico).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable electronic device displays an impact location that shows where a projectile fired from a weapon will hit a target and displays a bullseye location that shows a desired location where to hit the target. The wearable electronic device indicates firing the weapon when the impact location overlaps with the bullseye location."

The patent was filed on March 23, 2023, under Application No. 18/125,582.
