ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,484,654, issued on Dec. 2.
"Skates and method for manufacturing skates" was invented by Finn Halvorsen (Moss, Norway).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A composite skate having an integral skate blade holder and an anatomically designed insole, as well as an assembly for of a skate including the composite skate and an inflatable inner boot."
The patent was filed on Feb. 11, 2025, under Application No. 19/050,367.
