ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,490,251, issued on Dec. 2.
"Multi-beam steering at user equipment" was invented by Andreas Falkenberg (Escondido, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of multibeam steering includes determining, by a user equipment (UE) equipped with a plurality of antenna elements, a plurality of amplitude values and a plurality of phase values for the multibeam steering; and generating, simultaneously, a first beam and a second beam based on the plurality of amplitude values and the plurality of phase values."
The patent was filed on Feb. 10, 2023, under Application No. 18/108,411.
