According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A garment tourniquet device includes a pair of pants that has a pair of legs and a pair of channels each integrated into each of a respective one of the pair of legs. A pair of tourniquets is each positioned in the channel in a respective one of the pair of legs of the pair of pants. A respective one of the pair of tourniquets is pullable into a tightened condition to tighten around the femoral artery in the respective user's leg thereby inhibiting the arterial bleeding in the user's respective leg.
