"Extended release immunomodulatory implant to facilitate bone morphogenesis" was invented by Loubert S. Suddaby (Orchard Park, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An extended release immunomodulatory implant operatively arranged to facilitate bone morphogenesis, including an inner portion including one or more interleukins, and an outer portion surrounding the inner portion, the outer portion including an antigen operatively arranged to activate an innate immune system."
