ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,487,054, issued on Dec. 2.
"Bore sighting target mount" was invented by Leon Zloczower (Ness Ziona, Israel) and Ami Mesilati (Rechovot, Israel).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method for calibrating a weapon using a precision barrel mount calibration system, wherein one or more components of the precision barrel mount calibration system are self-centering, and the system is configured to prevent scratching of an inner surface of the barrel."
The patent was filed on July 2, 2024, under Application No. 18/761,446.
