"Syringe hand grip adapter" was invented by Donald Russell Peterson (Saint Charles, Ill.), John W. Birk (West Hartford, Conn.) and Simon Kudernatsch (Saint Charles, Ill.).

The support base includes a centrally disposed receptacle for receipt of a syringe flange.
