According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A grip for a cylindrical capacitive touch stylus comprises an elongated grip member made of a resilient material. The grip member has a proximal end, a distal end, an outer surface, and an inner surface defining a central bore. An open truncated side edge extends between the proximal and distal ends, laterally exposing the central bore.
