ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,496,177, issued on Dec. 16.

"Liquid applicator for delivering vaccines" was invented by Aurelie de Malibran-Santibanez (Atlanta), Alonso Prado-Masias (Peachtree Corners, Ga.) and Frederic David (Watkinsville, Ga.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a liquid applicator, for administering liquids, including vaccines, to animals. In particular, the applicator is useful for delivering liquids to mouths of animals."

The patent was filed on Aug. 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/446,677.
