ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,495,908, issued on Dec. 16.

"Face hammock" was invented by Anna Mace (Johnstown, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Generally, a face hammock, and a method of making and using a face hammock to support the head of an individual. Embodiments can include a first support member disposed in opposed spaced apart relation to a second support member and one or more flexible members connected by the respective flexible member ends to the first support member and the second support member can be positioned to supportingly engage the head of an individual."

The patent was filed on Aug. 24, 2023, under Application No. 18/237,497.
