According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A retractable toilet step device includes a base that is positionable against a pedestal of a toilet. A pair of straps is each coupled to the base and the straps are extendable around the pedestal of the toilet for securing the base to the toilet. A series of steps is positioned in front of the pedestal of the toilet.
