According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A swaddle blanket and band are described. The blanket and band may be used alone or in combination. The blanket and band may utilize panels of hook and loop fasteners (e.g., silent hook and loop fasteners) that may be sewn onto a base fabric to allow for ease of swaddling. In addition, the blanket may utilize a strap that folds and attaches to itself to form a loop to secure a lower portion of the blanket and provide size adjustability/remove excess slack."
