According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lighting assembly incorporating a "V" base having left and right arms forming a vertex; a column extending upwardly from the vertex; an upper arm fixedly attached to and cantilevering forwardly from an upper end of the column; an electric light fixedly attached to a forward end of the upper arm; a support plate fixedly mounted over the vertex; a column fixedly attached to the support plate; and a vertical stack of stabilization weights overlying the support plate."
