"Undergarment and garment liner having adjustable support for male genitalia" was invented by James G. Perez (St. Louis).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A garment for supporting the male genitalia of a wearer includes a waistband with a series of circumferentially oriented slits spaced along the front. A back strap attaches to a back strip of the waistband extends downward from the waistband to a lower end. A pouch with a rearward end connected to the lower end of the back strap extends forward covering a lower extreme of a wearer's abdomen.
