"Swimming pool cleaning system" was invented by Fabrizio Bernini (Bucine, Italy).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system for cleaning swimming pools, includes a robot which includes a main body, a plurality of electric rotors supported by the main body and configured for generating a hydrodynamic thrust designed to move the robot inside the volume of water of a swimming pool, an electricity storage unit for powering the rotors, and a device for cleaning the swimming pool. The system also includes a recharging base of the electricity storage unit."
