According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pet carrier useful as an open carrier and an enclosed kennel. The carrier is used in a vehicle and includes a base positioned directly onto a passenger seat, first and second side walls attached to the base, and first and second openings on the base, the first side wall, or the second side wall.
