According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The overflow resistant articulating pusher shovel may allow a user to clear material while preventing overflow from the shovel head and reducing the lifting strain placed upon the user. To reduce or prevent material overflow from the shovel head the device may comprise a shovel head endplate.
