ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,380, issued on Aug. 19.
"Electrically leveling sleep support frame" was invented by Andrew Duncan (Bozeman, Mont.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A self-leveling sleep surface frame includes linear actuators at each corner of a sleep surface frame connected by bi-directional joints to a plurality of telescoping beams which allows for the length of the beams to change and the angle of the connections between the beams and joints to adjust while achieving a level position for the sleep surface frame when a sleeper vehicle is on an unlevel surface."
The patent was filed on July 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/222,454.
