ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,433, issued on Aug. 19.
"Beverage accessory and method of using same" was invented by Paul Gaspar (Point Pleasant, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bottle accessory includes a thermoplastic or thermoset body including a circumferentially continuous collar configured and arranged to sit about a neck of a bottle, and a flared end configured and arranged to extend down one side of the bottle, the flared end including at least one feature forming a grip portion."
The patent was filed on May 25, 2023, under Application No. 18/323,927.
