"Intravitreal dosing for delivery of polynucleotides to retinal cones" was invented by Claire Gelfman (Carlsbad, Calif.), Diana Cepeda (San Diego), Ruslan Grishanin (San Francisco), Kristina Bender (Redwood City, Calif.), Pallavi Sharma (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and Julio Nieves (San Francisco).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is the intravitreal dosing of recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV)-based gene therapies for the treatment of color vision deficiencies such as Blue Cone Monochromacy (BCM) and Red-Green Color Blindness."

The patent was filed on March 25, 2022, under Application No. 17/705,237.
