ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,382,966, issued on Aug. 12.
"Devices, systems, and methods for extruding clean-meat materials" was invented by Dorothy Feibleman (Tokoname, Japan) and Hiromichi Ito (Seto, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A barrel-shaped sealing device with a resilient protruding edge for producing extruded meat products is provided. Methods are also provided for producing extruded food products, including cell-based meat products, as are extruded food products resulting from such methods."
The patent was filed on Oct. 19, 2021, under Application No. 17/505,621.
