ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,268,224, issued on April 8.

"Refrigerator ice-cream dispenser and matching capsules" was invented by Jossef Levi (Ramat Hasharon, Israel) and Aviva Cohen (Petach-Tikva, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides innovative ice-cream/yogurt capsule dispensers, and capsules therefor."
