ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. PP36,640, issued on April 29.
"Rudbeckia plant named 'Green Eyed Lady'" was invented by Brent Arpad Horvath (Fontana, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct variety of Rudbeckia plant as illustrated and described, characterized by the combination of thin foliage, and yellow flowers with green cones compared to the seed parent."
The patent was filed on Dec. 26, 2023, under Application No. 18/445,716.
