According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Improvements in a projectile launcher with a two-part bolt is disclosed. The two-part bolt has a forward bolt that moves and locates the projectile from the magazine to the breach. The ball is maintained in the breach until pressurized air pushes the projective out of the launcher.
