ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. PP36,639, issued on April 29.
"Helleborus plant named 'HF 1114'" was invented by Josef Heuger (Glandorf, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Helleborus plant named 'HF 1114, characterized by its upright to somewhat outwardly spreading and mounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; dark green-colored leaflets with lighter green-colored venation; freely flowering habit; light greenish yellow-colored flowers; and good garden performance."
The patent was filed on Nov. 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/389,586.
