According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A vehicle sanitation system is provided. The vehicle sanitation system has a housing that can be removably secured to a back of a vehicle seat via a fastener, such as a strap. An ultraviolet emitting light is disposed in the housing and is positioned to emit ultraviolet light in order to encompass a passenger area of a vehicle when illuminated.
