"Leather protective storage device" was invented by Barbara Crouthamel (Youngstown, N.Y.) and Blake Leon (Youngstown, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A storage device for protecting delicate objects from environmental elements includes an enclosed housing having a base, sidewalls, a top, and a hinged door.
