ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,296, issued on April 22.
"Hand exerciser and method for use" was invented by Mary Beth Murphy (Newport, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hand exerciser to strengthen and promote flexibility for both extension and flexion for the fingers, thumb and hand has a body defined by a resiliently deformable first outer ring and a resiliently deformable second inner ring that is concentric with the first outer ring. Flexion exercises utilize the first outer ring while extension exercises utilize the second inner ring."
The patent was filed on March 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/117,975.
