ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,280,551, issued on April 22.
"Deep lead heat staking device and method" was invented by Alex Spurgeon (Grove City, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A novel heat staking device particularly configured for use in impulse staking, resulting in faster achievement of required temperatures at a forming dome."
