ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,313, issued on April 15.

"Womens' undergarment apparatus" was invented by Kenya Adams (Murfreesboro, Tenn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention protects undergarments during use in a public restroom. In particular, the undergarments are secured to a tail-strap by fastening a rough velcro portion and a smooth velcro portion them. This is secured to the body of the device, which then dangles from the restroom's doorknob. The entire device can securely folded together for discreet transport."

The patent was filed on June 3, 2021, under Application No. 17/338,501.
