ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,258, issued on April 15.
"Virtual reality system with posture control" was invented by Andrew R. Basile Jr. (Troy, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method includes rendering a first field of view of a scene in accordance with a determination that the posture of the user corresponds to good posture, and rendering a second field of view of a scene in accordance with a determination that the posture of the user corresponds to bad posture."
The patent was filed on Aug. 17, 2021, under Application No. 17/404,833.
