According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A self-service point-of-sale kiosk is provided with a printer and access to a database (on-site or remote) with images that can be selected and printed on-demand. The consumer can search the database at the kiosk via an interactive display (user interface "UI") disposed on the enclosure of the kiosk or via a mobile app or website.
