ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,554, issued on April 15.
"Collapsible, lid-attached, food-safe storage container" was invented by Kevin Blumenthal (Washington).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A collapsible, lid-attached, food-safe storage container includes six panels and is selectively collapsible between an assembled configuration, in which the container is arranged as a rectangular cuboid having a fluid- and/or air-tight hollow interior space delimited by the six panels, and a collapsed configuration, in which the six panels are stacked on top of each other."
The patent was filed on Oct. 2, 2023, under Application No. 18/479,217.
