WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a rule called: Enhanced Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS).
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 21 by Kristi L. Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security.
Summary: To address ongoing aviation security threats, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is amending its regulations pertaining to the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program to require the transmission of additional data elements.
