The notice was published in the Federal Register on May 6 by Kristi Noem, Secretary, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Summary: The designation of South Sudan for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), which was set to expire on May 3, 2025, is automatically extended to November 3, 2025.
