U.S., BANGLADESH AIR FORCES WILL PARTICIPATE IN EXERCISE COPE SOUTH 24

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii, Feb. 15 -- The U.S. Pacific Air Forces issued the following news release:

Airmen from the 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan, and the Bangladesh Air Force will participate in exercise Cope South 24, Feb. 19-28 at BAF Kurmitola Cantonment, Dhaka, and Operating Location-Alpha, Sylhet, Bangladesh, for a Pacific Air Forces-sponsored, bilateral tactical airlift exercise.

U.S. Airmen and two U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules from the 36th Airlift Squadron will integrate with Bangladesh Armed Forces members and their C-130s during the exercise to advance military airlift interoperability and coalition building between the U.S. and BAF.
