WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- Sen. Jerry Moran issued the following press release:
U.S. Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) introduced the bipartisan Securing America's Fuels (SAF) Act to strengthen the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry, provide new markets for farmers and lower emissions in the transportation sector.
This legislation would reinstate the SAF bonus credit that would allow qualifying SAF producers to receive up to $0.35 or $1.75 per gallon, and it would extend the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Tax Credit for all clean fuels through 2033.
