Following months of bombing in the Caribbean and Pacific, the unauthorized military attack on Venezuela, and the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by the Trump Administration, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) announced she joined her colleagues in pushing forward a bill to prevent the United States from getting into an all-out war in Venezuela. The bill, the Prohibiting Unauthorized Military Action in Venezuela Act, prohibits the use of federal funds for any use of military force in or against Venezuela without explicit Congressional authorization.
