Today, Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) released the following statement after the New Jersey State Senate announced it was pulling State Senate bill S.4924 from consideration, therefore preventing any potential floor vote from taking place during the Legislature's lame duck session. If passed, this bill would have severely weakened the oversight power of the New Jersey Comptroller's office, creating an environment for conflicts of interests and other measures that further damages the public's trust in New Jersey government:
