U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is working across the aisle to upgrade rural water infrastructure in Georgia.
Sen. Ossoff is cosponsoring the bipartisan Rural Water System Disaster Preparedness and Assistance Act to improve water infrastructure systems across rural Georgia.
The bill, introduced by Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), would establish a grant program for rural communities to prepare for and respond to emergencies that could impact vulnerable water infrastructure.
