Today, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced that they secured $5,000,000 in federal funding for critical North Country projects in the pending fiscal year (FY) 2026 spending bill currently being voted on in the House of Representatives and expected to come to a vote in the Senate later this month. The senators personally secured funding for these projects as congressionally directed spending.
