U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today announced they have secured $9,275,000 in federal funding for Western New York projects, which thanks to the senators was just signed into law as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Consolidated Appropriations bill. The senators personally secured funding for these projects through congressionally directed spending.
