U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined Senate colleagues in urging a federal court to issue a ruling that protects minors in immigration detention. The senators filed an amicus brief to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals urging them to uphold the 1997 Flores Settlement Agreement, which sets critical minimum standards for children in immigration detention and continues to be the single most effective protection for detained immigrant children.
