Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced the introduction of her Carson City Public Land Correction Act, which will help promote conservation, improve public lands management, and expand economic development opportunities in Carson City, Nevada. As the state with the highest percentage of public land in the nation, Nevada relies on federal legislation to make land available for development, including affordable housing, and other public purposes, like flood and wildfire mitigation, storm water improvement, and recreation. Companion legislation in the House has been introduced by Representative Mark Amodei (R-NV-2).
