Today, U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03) announced Cherry Street Services' Heart of the City Health Center in Grand Rapids will receive $4,606,558 and Muskegon Family Care in Muskegon Heights will receive $995,228 in federal support. The awards are through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Center Program, which helps community-based organizations deliver comprehensive, affordable primary health care in underserved areas.
