Today, U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) released the following statement after voting against a motion to table a resolution to impeach President Donald Trump, a procedural vote to prevent the House from considering articles of impeachment. The vote came just days after Trump accused several Democratic Members of Congress of "sedition," a charge that carries the penalty of death under federal law.
