Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) introduced legislation to authorize Wisconsin memorials at Antietam National Battlefield and Manassas National Battlefield Park to recognize the service and sacrifice of the Second, Third, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Wisconsin Infantry Regiments during the Civil War.
