Arizona has reached a historic settlement with Riverview, LLP that will reduce the company's groundwater use and deliver $11 million to impacted residents for well-drilling, water-hauling and groundwater access.
The agreement follows sustained pressure from then-Representative Ruben Gallego, who previously called on (https://www.gallego.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Riverview-Dairy-Water-Letter1.pdf) Riverview to improve its water resource management and take responsibility for its impact on Arizona's groundwater.
