WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Pipeline Safety: Standards Update-ASTM F2945.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 2 by Benjamin D. Kochman, Deputy Administrator.
Summary: PHMSA is confirming the effective date for the DFR that appeared in the Federal Registeron July 1, 2025. The DFR amended PHMSA's regulations to incorporate by reference ASTM International's updated industry standard ASTM F2945, "Standard Specification for Polyamide 11 Gas Pressure Pipe, Tubing, and Fittings."
